Loft Beds with Desk
Bunk beds might be the classic solution to the problem of limited space in children’s rooms, but they’re increasingly finding competition from loft-style beds that actually pair a loft bed with a traditional bed to conquer space concerns. These beds allow for a bit more flexibility when designing a room and laying it out, all while keeping two occupants happy and comfortable.
Today’s loft-style bunk beds are a far cry from the bunk beds of old. In this setup, a twin bed is placed into the lofted position, it sits overtop of a full bed closer to the ground. IT’s the perfect combination of space and comfort for rooms that pair a younger and older child together. And, in the event that each child gets his or her own room, the loft beds can easily be separated, with a desk or other furniture being stored underneath the lofted twin while the full bed becomes an independent piece of furniture.
The ability to combine two differently sized beds in a number of different combinations is a great commitment to flexibility for families. The beds will grow with the family, too, able to meet the different needs of a growing family, a bigger home, and other concerns.
